A Danish design icon, this 'Krenit Dish' won Gold Medal in the Art and Design Triennale in Milan, Italy 1954.
Designer Herbert Krenchel, originally trained in Engineering, said that 'the surface on a design object is important because it makes people want to reach out for it'. In this dish he's used a matte black exterior to highlight the gold polished steel interior.
The streamlined shape of the Kernit dish looks as contemporary today as it did when it was first designed in the 1950s. Perfect for use on the dining table, or as a display piece in the living room.
