These high-end incense sticks are created by Japanese founder and perfumer Chikako. A unique concept, they combine the ancient art of the Japanese incense, with techniques learned in Grasse in the south of France, the perfume capitol of the world.
Luxurious and petite, this gift box comes with a handcrafted ceramic incense holder of the colour representing each scent and a sheet of the brand's original fireproof paper. You can also purchase refill packs once the box is finished.

About the brand: TOKYO KODO is a heritage incense brand that was founded in 1935, and has spanned three generations. The current founder, Chikako Perez graduated from Institute of Perfumery in Grasse, South France, which is said to be the capital of perfume. She works with her French partner who has 13 years experience working with perfume in Grasse, France. The two combine the European and Japanese techniques to make a truely unique blend of fragrances. Their studio (see images below) is located in the Gunma prefecture in Japan
